XtraMile processes personal data in accordance with Norwegian law, referencing the Personal Data Act, Marketing Act, and Accounting Act. These collectively provide guidelines for how personal information should be handled, with the Data Inspectorate (https://www.datatilsynet.no/) acting as both the supervisory authority and ombudsman in this area.

What We Use Personal Data For

Interested Parties: We use your information to give you secure access to a demo of the application and course. Additionally, we send you relevant information based on the consent you have provided.

Course Participants: We use your information to manage deliveries, orders, and other contexts where we need to know who we are in contact with. The data stored about you includes your name, email, the organization you belong to, course completions, and test results. Your organization may also share additional information about you to better segment who receives a course or to view results for course completion within your organization. Examples of this may include department information, office location, and your direct manager. Access to this data is controlled and used only by the contact person within your organization. The information about you is stored during the contract period and for 6 months after it ends.

Phishing Tests: If your organization conducts a phishing test with us as the provider, we use your email address and technical information such as IP address and cookies to carry out the test. Your organization can see if you received and read the phishing test, which links you may have clicked on, and if you provided any information in a form. The information about you is stored during the contract period and for 7 days after it ends.

Visiting Our Website
When you visit our website, the IP address you contact us from, the pages you visit, and how long you view them are recorded.

Use of Cookies
Our website uses cookies, which are small text files stored by the browser you use. A cookie belongs to a specific website and cannot be read by other websites. The content of a cookie varies, but it usually includes keys that allow user preferences to be stored or remembers that you have visited the website before.

Third-Party Cookies: If content from other websites, such as ad banners or tracking tools, is included on our website, these may also store cookies on your device. These are called third-party cookies and are primarily used for collecting statistics.

Statistics Tools

We use a statistics tool called Hubspot to track who reads what in our newsletters sent by email. If you click a link in an email, you will be directed to our website, which tracks which pages you visit. If you then choose to order a course, this may be linked back to the original email. We also use Google Analytics. As a visitor to our website, you are anonymized. Google Analytics is used to improve the user experience of our site and provide tailored content.

To ensure that our processing of your information is secure, only authorized individuals within our organization have access. Access to information is secured with personal usernames and passwords, and all employees undergo regular training in security and privacy.
