Fish Welfare – Marine is an e-learning course that provides you with a thorough introduction to salmon anatomy, physiology, life cycle, behavior, and welfare needs. You’ll learn about the most common diseases and parasites that affect salmon, as well as prevention and treatment. The course also covers current regulations and guidelines in the aquaculture industry, enabling you to make knowledge-based and ethically sound decisions.
The course is 100% online, so you can learn whenever and wherever it suits you. You set your own pace, and your progress is saved so you can easily pick up where you left off. The content is designed to provide practical benefits in your daily work, and upon completion, you will meet the requirements of Section 6 of the Aquaculture Operations Regulations.
